All-on-4® Treatment Concept: Dental Implants for Dentures
For years, traditional removable denture wearers have been embarrassed and frustrated when their dentures slip or fall out while dining with friends or speaking in public. Now, [OFFICE] offers a revolutionary alternative that keeps dentures securely and comfortably in place.
It’s called the All-on-4 Treatment Concept. This patented process uses just four dental implants to hold the denture permanently in place. It’s quickly becoming the preferred option for people who have lost their teeth due to age, gum disease, tooth decay or trauma.
The All-on-4 implant-supported denture is a permanent denture that remains firmly fixed to your gums, offering the look and feel of natural teeth. Moreover, there’s no need for the messy adhesives and nightly cleanings necessary with traditional removable dentures. You simply care for the denture supported by All-on-4 implants just as you would natural teeth.
Our dentist at [OFFICE] has received extensive training in the All-on-4 Treatment Concept and has been helping people in [GEOID] improve their lives with no-slip dentures ever since. Call our office at [PHONE_LINK] to find out how the All-on-4 Treatment Concept can help you, too.
Benefits of the All-on-4 Implant-Supported Denture Treatment
The All-on-4 Treatment Concept was developed in 1998 by Nobel Biocare, a world leader in dental technology. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have chosen All-on-4 dental implant therapy because the treatment is less invasive than other traditional dental implant surgery and allows people to enjoy their new permanent dentures sooner.
Dentists have been replacing lost teeth with dental implants for decades. However, traditional dental implant surgery often requires multiple visits to the dental office to undergo bone grafts needed to build up the jawbone so it can support the implants. With the All-on-4 Treatment Concept, bone grafts are rarely needed. During a single dental visit, patients can receive their All-on-4 implants and walk out with a temporary denture. Some patients can even have their permanent denture placed the same day they receive their All-on-4 implants. This is referred to as “teeth-in-a-day.”
With All-on-4 implants, patients heal faster and are able to enjoy the comfort and natural appearance of their permanent dentures supported by All-on-4 dental implants sooner. Additionally, because All-on-4 dental implants require fewer implants and less-invasive surgery, it is typically more economical than traditional implant surgery.
How the All-on-4 Treatment Procedure Works
All-on-4 dental implant therapy uses four dental implants to permanently attach a complete denture or bridge to the upper or lower jaw. A denture or full bridge is a complete row of prosthetic upper or lower teeth.
When the patient has been lightly sedated, the dentist places two small titanium posts directly into the upper or lower jawbone in the front of the mouth and two more titanium posts tilted at a 45-degree angle in the upper or lower jawbone at the back of the mouth. The 45-degree angle allows the dentist to place the implants deeper into the jawbone than is possible with traditional implant surgery, eliminating the need for bone grafts common with traditional dental implant surgery.
Because titanium is a metal that is compatible with human bone, the jawbone naturally accepts the implants and fuses around them within a few months. Once the All-on-4 dental implants are firmly and permanently locked into place, the patient returns to [OFFICE] where the implants are attached to a permanent custom-made bridge or denture that matches the shape and shade of the patient’s natural teeth.
All-on-4 dental implants not only provide a permanent foundation for a denture or bridge but they prevent further deterioration of the jawbone. When the jaw no longer has teeth and roots to support it, it begins to deteriorate, giving people a gaunt appearance. With All-on-4 dental implants, the deterioration ceases and the jawline appears fuller and more youthful.
